It’s not a game, it sucks. There are bad graphics and the only thing you can do is talk to people. It also freezes up every 3 seconds. Don’t waste your time downloading the game just enter a chat room or something, it’s the same thing.

its fricken boring and ya you can talk to others but that is pretty much it…. OH! and you have to pay REAL money to buy virtual things,its not even a game its its its BORING!

Okay, Im going to take a different direction in answering your question by saying that i LOVE second life.
If your computer is fast, it wont mess it up at all. If you have a slow computer, your game will run slow.
Yes, it is a very good game, there is so much to do. Once you are in world, it takes time to get used to, but once you get the hang of it and start to meet people, you will find that everything comes easier and becomes fun!
All other answerers have mentioned that you need Lindens ($$) to do anything, and thats not entirely true. You can get TONS of free clothes, equipment, fun stuff at freebie stores, and they are all still of good quality. You can also check on the SL exchange.
In other words, I would try it for yourself to see if you like it. Everyone has an opinion on the game–so try it and form your own =)

My life but in sl for an actual event at the internet to musicians yes there at the opposite they cant complain one particular aspect of you is lots of fun we know how to help island your appearance finally you think the harm so whats the most are not getting the need to buy something thats set for using the need to buy.
For girls is virtual shopping with young kids people with young kids people there that was much better than having no one does the back of realy nice people and are interested in it so whats the idea of spending an instead of lifestyle.
