    Search for Freebies for free clothes, body styles, accessories, etc.

    As for altering your virtual appearance, right click yourself and click Edit Appearance (I think, I haven’t played SL that much and haven’t played in a long time).

    There’s also several places that have dance pads that will pay a few Linden dollars every 10 or so minutes, it’s a long process to get enough money to buy anything, but it’s better than nothing.

    For freebies or demo skins and freebie shapes most stores that are good provide freebies or demo skins and freebie skins and freebie skins if you can always modify your body yourself by rightclickingedit appearance.
